Scholarship Program
At Unity Bank we believe in helping you achieve your dreams and continuing your education. Our Scholarship Program provides financial support to outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement. By offering these scholarships, we help remove barriers and open doors to higher education opportunities.
Since 2020 Unity Bank has given over $50,000 in scholarships to our local communities. In 2024 Unity Bank awarded $13,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. Scholarship recipients are selected based on their community involvement, school participation, and academic achievement.
Applications for the 2026 Unity Bank Scholarships are due on April 1st.

Show your support for our local schools with Unity Bank’s School Spirit Debit Cards! For every purchase you make with your School Spirit Debit Card, we’ll donate $0.05 to your local school district. It’s a simple way to contribute to the community and foster school spirit, all while enjoying the convenience and security of your debit card. At the beginning of 2026, Unity Bank donated a total of $11,706.50 to our local school districts. Unity Bank aims to elevate and enrich the education of our local students through the School Spirit Debit Card Program and our ongoing partnership with the school districts.
$11,706.50 Donated to Local Schools Through Spirit Debit Cards
Unity Bank is proud to announce that our customers helped us donate $11,706.50 for local schools this year through the Unity Bank School Spirit Debit Card program. Each time a cardholder makes a purchase with their school’s Spirit Card, Unity Bank donates a portion back to that school, at no cost to the customer.
This year, donations were distributed to 9 schools across our communities, supporting classroom needs, extracurricular programs, equipment, and more.

Teach Kids to Save Day
We understand that the foundation for a secure financial future is laid early in life. That’s why we are dedicated to making financial education accessible and engaging for young minds through our Teach Kids to Save Day initiative.
In collaboration with the American Bankers Association (ABA), this annual event aims to instill essential money management skills in students from a young age, setting them on a path to financial responsibility and success.

Teach Kids to Save Day is a nationwide event dedicated to educating children about the importance of saving, budgeting, and managing money. This initiative, supported by the ABA, brings together banks, educators, and community leaders to provide interactive and educational experiences for students.

By partnering with the ABA, Unity Bank leverages their extensive resources and expertise to enhance our Teach Kids to Save Day programming. The ABA provides a wealth of educational materials, lesson plans, and best practices that help us deliver engaging and effective financial literacy workshops. This partnership ensures that our program is aligned with national standards and offers students the most relevant and impactful financial education available. Our bankers also participate directly, sharing their expertise and personal experiences to inspire and educate young learners.
